I started playing football when I was 4 in a local kids group. I also played football at home in the garden with my Dad, who used to be a goalkeeper. When I was 6 years old I started playing for a local team, in goal one week, then on pitch the next. After 4 months I became the only goalkeeper in the team. My Dad thought I had a natural talent for the goalkeeping position, so he found a local professional goalie coach and I started having private goalkeeper coaching to develop my skills further.
Since 2016 I have had 1:1 and group Goalkeeper Coaching with private Goalkeeper Academies. This is developing me into a modern-day goalkeeper in both technical & tactical aspects.
I train & play weekly for my local grassroots team and I attend various Goalie Camps during school holidays.
It is important to participate in other sports too, which help improve your hand-eye co-ordination, footwork, power, agility & mindset; all great assets for goalkeepers. To this end, I also play golf, table tennis, dodgeball, cricket, darts & swimming.
